Matchframe ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Matchframe mobile application. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information when you use our app.
Photos you upload. When you use the Photo Coach or Photo Generation features, you upload photos from your device. These photos are sent to our servers for AI analysis and generation only. We do not store your photos permanently — they are processed and then deleted from our servers.
Device identifier. We generate a random device identifier (UUID) to associate your credits and usage with your device. This identifier is not linked to your Apple ID, name, or any other personal information.
Purchase information. When you make an in-app purchase, Apple processes the transaction. We receive a transaction ID to validate your purchase and grant credits. We do not receive or store your payment details.
Email address. If you sign up for our waitlist or newsletter via matchframe.app, we collect your email address through Buttondown. This is separate from the app and is used only to send you product updates.
We use the following third-party services to operate the app:
Uploaded photos are processed in real-time and are not stored on our servers after processing. Your device identifier and credit balance are retained as long as you use the app. Analytics data is aggregated and anonymized.
All communication between the app and our servers uses HTTPS encryption. API keys are stored server-side and never included in the app binary. We use rate limiting to prevent abuse.
Matchframe is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
You can delete all your data by uninstalling the app. Since we use a device identifier rather than an account, uninstalling removes your association with our services. If you have questions about your data, contact us at the address below.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
